The evolution of Japanese tea culture

ONE

A new type of Tea Ceremony

In deciding how to start the Tea Change Project, we decided that it would be best to begin with a tea ceremony that reflects the evolution of Japanese tea culture in modern times. We aim to present you a tea ceremony that is based on tradition, but brings modern flexibility and enjoyment. We aim to awaken interest in people who may not be familiar with or may not have interest in the formalities of traditional tea ceremonies. We aim to bring such people together and show them how Japanese tea can be enjoyed in the style of ‘one tea with one dish’.
