The concept behind the Tea Change Project is: ‘One hundred teas for one hundred ways’ Creative Tea Blending(go-gumi) is one of the main parts of the project.
The skill and knowledge of blending various types of leaves to create new flavours is a traditional know-how that is passed down from generation to generation. This is especially important in Shizuoka, which is Japan’s leading tea producing area.
When blending techniques evolve to include various herbs and spices mixed with tea leaves, the possibilities for creating unique flavours of tea expand greatly. It is our pleasure to welcome you to try the creative and fun experience of making your own flavour.
