After completing a training program at the college’s research centre, he did an apprenticeship in a tea farm in Miyazaki prefecture in Kyushu, a major roasted tea making area of Japan. After the two and a half year apprenticeship, he began growing and selling tea in his hometown of Makinohara City five years ago.
